I am applauding House Representatives Veronica Escobar (D-TX) and Maria Salazar (R-FL), whom I recently heard speaking at a political event introducing the new Dignity Act bill of 2023. The Dignity Act is a comprehensive and bipartisan bill with the primary objectives of bolstering the American workforce and fostering economic growth in the United States.
At the same event, there was an artist performing in front of senators and state officials whose name is Dunja. Dunja Vukosavovic is a perfect example of an immigrant making it big in the USA. Later, I learned she made millions of dollars in TV advertising, music publishing, and working with prominent film producers. I also learned how she contributed to society financially with her efforts in philanthropy simply going under different unrecognizable names or “incognito” which allowed her to fully express her art without the burden of expectations or labels. After speaking to Dunja at the event, I found that she has an interesting and striking personality. She has contributed to music events such as the Ronald McDonald House New York City and performing at The White House.

In a time where bipartisan efforts are rare, it's refreshing to witness House Representatives Veronica Escobar (D-TX) and Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL) come together to introduce the Dignity Act bill of 2023.
